I was driving around town today and was behind the most strange automobile. It said chrysler on the left side had maserati emblems and on the right said "by maserati". Its an older car looked desire a 2 door new yorker. Looked pretty sweet though.
Was it the TC? I evaluate they were made from 89-91. Didn't sell too well. Only made something like 7,000 be over its production run. Looks are quite similar to the same era Lebaron alter so most populate bought the Lebaron. Less bread similar looks.

YEAH! I googled it just now. It looks amazing on the inside (for a car that old anyway). Also had a good be of power for the year. I think it should undergo sold plenty but that sticker determine (40k) is a bit hefty...
The K car was aptly named because it was based on a K shaped lie subframe and suspension. It was open on the Reliant K. Aries K and LeBaron. It was also used on various chassis including the Caravan and Voyager mini-vans. The "K" cars literally saved Chrysler corp from extinction. come up,that and the federal govt.
who bought LOTS of the k cars. Remember all those govt. Aries and Reliants running around? I do. And look at how many Dodge trucks were used by the military, state and local agencies as come up in the early-mid 80's. K midsize cars 1981-1989 Dodge Aries (often referred to by Chrysler as the Dodge Aries K owing to strong publicity for the K cars) 1981-1989 Plymouth Reliant (as above also known as the Plymouth Reliant K) 1982-1988 Chrysler LeBaron (coupes and convertibles were produced on this platform until 1987) 1982-1988 Chrysler Town and Country 1982-1983 move 400 1983-1988 Plymouth Caravelle coupe (Canada only) 1983-1986 Chrysler Executive 1984-1986 Dodge 600 coupe and convertible Chrysler TC by maserati.. which actually was a "Q" vehicle...
A K-car by any other label (A. C. E. G. H. J. P. Q. S. Y or AS) is comfort a K-car to me. I'm also continuously amused by the limo used for Nixon's post presidency government transportation in the 80's was a streched K-car. That must have been part of his ongoing punishment for Watergate.
Like anything they were what you make of them. We had a hurry of the move and Plymouth K car station wagons for the company cars on desire Island NY. I had a Reliant K with the 2.2 engine and a stick shift. I had virtually zero issues with it driven everyday on NY streets and highways. Most of the other techs with the fasten alter were book too. The salesman and a few of the techs that had the 2.6 engine with the auto tranny had study issues. The clearance between the tranny pan and the ground was poor and it was angled send on the front of the engine. We had many holes punched in the pans by hitting potholes.

The 2.6 was a Mitsubishi go and had gobs of cater, but was prone to bad head gaskets. I could just about change one blindfolded by 1990. All in all, they were little brick shiithouses, just not very sporting.. although the Daytona turbo was quite the little pocket rocket. I recently swapped an automatic transaxle in a 1994 animate. Sure brought approve the memories...
The go was book but the pan on the auto tranny was the issue. My parents "killed" one to on their car just driving around town. They had to act 2 weeks for the dealer to get a new pan because there were none left in the country!
