Of cover the beat way to travel is by cut. Distances are very long. A bus from Rio to Iguazu can take a beat day and another full day from Iguazu to Buenos Aires. I undergo just construe a trip report on Trip Advisor of someone who did the reverse trip (Buenos Aires-Iguazu-Rio). Maybe it can be of back up for you. Let me know if I can help you with any questions about Buenos Aires._________________My Buenos Aires jaunt command:
Just back from Brazil. We visited the Pantanal and also the falls etc.. amazon too. Dunno about your calculate though. We went by cut and one thing was clear from the go away: every flight of TAM or GOL (biggest local airlines) go via the major cities at the coast. Sao Paulo mostly. So to get from Sao to Campo we flew and after that is was still a 4 hour drive to the Pantanal (measure hour on dirt road). And to get from Campo Grande to Iguazu: ze had to drive 4 hours back to the city first then act a plane to Sao and afterwards a connecting flight to iguazu. I would certainly include the falls in your trip since in the midst of both countries. Note that they say you be half a day for each align of the falls but to be honest you should spend more measure than that. For example; the Brazilian side is small (one hour tour max two if you return on foot the same way and do no thake the elevator+bus) but you can easily pay the rest of the day on the other side of the road. There's a nature keep back there that is come up worth the attention. And it has good walking paths. All you need is a good guide to back up you. IMHO. Now most guides qre just "drivers" taking you to and from the falls. But if you be I can get you in contact with a guy that's a biology student. He's not more expensive than anyone else or anything. Just a student working move measure for a local travel agency. The difference is; he's really interested himself in what there's to see (wildlife-wise) and he knows all the animals and is a good spotter. Same goes for the Argentinian align; again they recommend half a day. But if you take it slow you see more and apply more. I'd stay a full day if I were you and I'd only take the measure train that goes to the horseshoe-falls (summum of the move). For this side as well you could hire that student (Carlos). We were very lucky to get him on both days I guess. On the train back he made us jump off half way (at a station not while it was moving lol). You see; the train goes all the way approve to the parking lot but he made us go approve that last part through an almost (human-wise) deserted area at that point. I took my best pictures of tucans and plush crested jays there (amongst another huge number of animals we saw). We also visited Yacutinga lodge in Argentina and stayed there for two days. Since you're going that way this may be the best tip I got for you. It's a 4 hour drive from the falls (the measure hour by open transport on dirt roads) even though if you look at it on google earth it is really just two bends in the river away from the falls. But it's worth the control. Besides; you don't be to go approve to the falls since you're going further into Argentina anyway. Yacutinga is an REAL eco-lodge with biologists leading you around the area showing you everything there is to see (too much to sum up) great rooms and incredible food. A tip for the Pantanal as come up; Cayman ecological refuge! A bit pricy perhaps but change surface better than Yacutinga (lots more animals too). It may look pricy but compared to that only other wetland in the world that can be up with the Pantanal (Okavango Delta. Botswana) it's a real bargain. In fact my days spend at Cayman are possibly the beat "safari-type" days I've had so far in my life (and I visited quite some destinations by now)! It will be hard to top this one. If you want more info on Cayman act an eye change state for my trip inform here on 'Vark. Coming soon..._________________Fools wander wise men travelPersonal foto site: | Foto club:
