All our journal covers are entirely handmade. The leather sides are hand-picked by our artisans and then stamped using an Argentine stamping method called “cincelado.” In fact all the stamps used to make this journal (over 150 hammer strokes) were purchased in Argentina by our artists. Our covers are then dyed and stained using EcoFlo eco-friendly products and finally sewn with long-lasting waxed thread. Our flog covers fit one of the most popular journals ever made: the Moleskine take Notebook (3.5” x 5.5”) which comes in a variety of selections from journals to sketch pads to music notation. Not only do our covers fit Moleskine’s wide selection but they also fit pocket sizes in the Pen & Ink the Hand Book Artist Journal and Markings Small Journal lines.
