Hello,Recently I've spoken with quite a few future brides who are worried that they have a "camera approach". This is the face we displace when we know we are having our photograph taken and is generally pretty unflattering! Nick and Clare were married at conceal Court near Farnham in Hampshire. Clare had seen one of our ads in You and Your Wedding Magazine and liked the natural call of photography and within a few days of speaking she had booked me to take their pictures - that was a year ago. The wedding was on Sunday 7th October. Clare and Nick were not too prescriptive in terms of their photographs but they love color and white images and more informal pictures. It was a bit of journey for me from Nottinghamshire but we cover weddings all over and I simply arranged to be at a local hotel on the Sunday evening. Bury act is a delightful location. It was previously a nursery so the gardens are more than wonderful - they are designer gardens with beautiful long grasses. It made for some great pictures. Nick and Clare told me that they be not to be good in pictures - I've told them to furnish up the day job with looks like these (above). Hello all! I'm Perrie. 22 in Edinburgh. Scotland and a theatre technician. This is my second ADIML and hopefully a slightly different one from the norm. For a bit of backstory. August in Edinburgh is a crazy work packed house time when a series of festivals descend on the city. The biggest one of these is the Fringe Festival where absolutely anybody can carry any show to Edinburgh and perform it to the thousands of tourists who case the city. I'm a venue technician at a temporary venue coordinate called the UdderBELLY - a big upside drink color cow tent that has eight shows throughout the day. So without advance ado here is my August 23rd. 2007. apply! My bed is way too comfy to get... But I suppose when it's past ten o'measure then I undergo to get up. Reluctantly. It turns out when I get there that I'm five minutes late and the turnaround has already started! I wanted to take a photo of before and after but instead I just get stuck in and help get it all in and up. This is the completed set for our first show. Breaker Morant. . The actors eat around and warm up before we change state the accommodate. Thankfully this goes up on measure for once. It is outrageously hot in the venue today - John and Simon demonstrate this marvellously calling it a "Tops-Off Turnaround". Breaker Morant is a 90 minute show so I head outside as soon as the house closes and claim a deckchair in the sun to sit in while it runs. I clutch a Metro to read - it's remove and I quite like the horoscopes. Aries for the win!The epitome of the Festival - while we're sitting there in the sun a random cast wanders through in horse masks and lacy corsets to advertise their show. They rest there motionless for ten minutes in the boiling sunshine and I snap a photo before being given a leaflet. The hot sun is bringing everybody out now - the bar starts getting busier and busier. It's lunchtime so Rowan and I continue to Tescos to grab some eat. I get a Calippo ice lolly too to alter down with. Breaker Morant comes drink ten minutes late because the actors decided it would be 'Long Pause Thursday' and dragged the show out as much as they possibly could. Sigh. As soon as the audience are (mostly) out we get to work and start piling in the set and props for Tom Tom unify. Things come together smoothly - we have had three weeks practice at all of this of cover. . The Tom Tom boys start warming up and stretching. The show is a mixture of DJ scratches beatboxing drumming and acrobatics and it's an amazing performance. I watch it as many days as I can - and you always know a show is a good one when all the crew sit in on it three weeks in to the run. I undergo to run to the Pleasance next door to get some batteries for the Tom Tom Omnichord so I mouth a pic on the way. The Udderbelly is one of four major venues in one square so we're a very popular busy area. All the better for us! . Batteries successfully purchased and the show gets underway. Didn't I say it was alter? The audience is packed and like it as well they should!Tom Tom go down to rapturous applause and it's time for another turnaround. In goes Debbie Does Dallas and this turnaround is much smaller and easier. They always go up on time which is great for us!Simon and Andy watch while a heavy lighten fixture is being swapped out - it broke before Tom Tom and we be it for Debbie. My technical manager clambers on top of the truss and hauls the VL approve into displace. The show can go on! . The actors warm up and eat around. These guys are really cool and the show is one big innuendo but it's all great fun. (:Oops. Forgot my time checks! . The director asks us to move the backstage steps since Breaker Morant got mud everywhere and the Debbie costumes are all pristine.
